Easter Books And Gift Ideas For Toddlers
BOOKS!
Not just gift ideas, we got books too! You all know we love adding beautiful books to our collection. The more Montessori aligned they are, the more we love them. And this Easter, we have a few.
This simple yet beautifully illustrated book for young toddlers is eye-catching! It is a touch-and-feel book as well, which is entertaining for toddlers. #sensorialbook
I found this book in a secondhand store, but you can purchase it here.
Visiting a farm this Easter? Take this book with you! Poppy and Sam are on a hunt for Easter eggs while exploring Apple Tree Farm. Children will love looking through the holes and tracing the several patterns. Oh! And don't forget to find the duck in every page!
You can grab a copy of this adorable book here.
One of the Montessori aligned books that I will be sharing is this one. With beautiful photos of things from home, the challenge is to find a thing or two in every page. Your little toddler will have fun finding little treasures in this book.
This is another op shop find but you can purchase a copy here.
Illustrated for the nursery rhyme, this book is so adorable! It showcase children in bunny costumes. The best part, it is inclusive, representing children from around the world.
You can purchase this separately or in a bundle with more Easter goodies at Gumnut Music.
Discover the meaning behind the colours of Easter. I wanted to add a book about Jesus, the reason for Easter, in our collection and this one is perfect. Jesus is alive!
Another op shop gem! Sadly, I couldn't find a link for you. 😔
A beautiful book about enjoying the great outdoor - the park.

Join Poppy and Sam at Apple Tree Farm for the second time! This book focuses on farm animal sounds with an adorable bunny finger puppet.

And for our basket, we have decided to skip bunnies, chicks, ducks... instead, we focus on something our young toddler needs, wants, something he can wear, and read (Poppy and Sam and the Bunny presented above.)
To support A's interest in posting and other sensorial materials, I purchased this from Growing Kind. They added, "There is a rattle, horn, mirror, bell, kaleidoscope and ratchet sound all colour coded with their place on the puzzle board. The blocks can be played with individually or stacked, they will teach shape, colour and sound and they will assist with fine motor skills and cause and effect when something is shaken, pushed or pulled. Really simple but really effective!" Another versatile toy to add in our play area.
I also added a set Haba Musical Egg Shakers with different sounds that I purchased from Amazon. Note: It took 6 weeks for them to arrive. Better purchase them locally. Toys 2 Learn, Wooden Wonderland, and Haba Store Australia currently have them in stock.
Playsilks by Earthsylks! These open-ended toy is such a staple in every playroom. The best part, these are made from soy, sending love to those poor silkworms.
Next is a jar of Natural Potion Mix from Growing Kind. This will be a great addition to our mud kitchen and other sensorial activities.
I also added a Grimm's Medium Rainbow for something I (Yup, you read that right. Haha!) want for the play area. Links are attached above!
We love our Attipas Aqua Shoes that we have decided to add another pair in a bigger size.
The best part, these are all NON - CHOCOLATE GIFT IDEAS!
I will be sharing more on our Instagram page, @beyond.our.play See you there!
Disclosure - This post contains link where I purchased the books and gift ideas. These are not affliated links, I just love supporting businesses. Always spread the love. - Michelle
